Chris is a 20-year retired Army veteran and small-scale livestock producer from Lyon County, KY. Chris is originally from southern Louisiana where he grew up in the rice, soybean and cattle industry. After graduating college, he was accepted to helicopter flight school and spent 20 years serving in the Army, having retired in 2017. In the last few years leading up to retirement, Chris did a lot of volunteer work with the Natural Resource Conservation Service helping farmers establish conservation practices to stop erosion and soil loss.

Based out of the Lyon County Soil Conservation District office in Eddyville, Chris seeks to help farmers make smart financially based conservation decisions by using data from their farm with a long-term goal of Conservation Stewardship. PCM targets 10 counties in the Purchase, Lower Cumberland and Lower Green River areas of Kentucky. Chris can help farmers efficiently, effectively, and profitably improve water quality and soil health in these regions.
